A typical Caribbean Journey vacation includes consultation, research, proposals, booking of travel components, reservation management, required entry requirements research, clear travel instructions, local contacts for support while traveling, emergency numbers that are staffed 24/7, travel insurance quotes, personal recommendations for restaurants, tours + excursions, confirmation of any requested special services, spa appointments, etc. and often VIP services like expedited customs & immigration processing. All of the above is provided to you via an online link and within our travel app so you are never without access to your trip information.

Yes. We charge professional fees because we dedicate hours of our time to ensuring our client’s trips are expertly planned, monitored, and that our clients have all they need before embarking on their incredible journeys. Our fees are explained in detail on this page and we are happy to go over them with you! 

We are paid a commission from most of the suppliers we book on your behalf. This is not on top of their regular pricing; therefore, the price you pay is not inflated with any hidden costs. Most of the flights, ferries, transfers, and tours we have arranged for clients over the years, were without compensation. Our professional service fees help cover the cost of our time arranging non-commissionable travel components.

Payment schedules are set by independent suppliers or vendors; i.e., airlines, hotels, car rental agencies, tour companies/wholesalers, or activity providers. Typically, they do allow multiple payments – deposit at the time of booking and then final payment due later.

Yes! We urge you to retain travel insurance for your protection against unforeseen circumstances that may force a cancellation or cause you to face unplanned expenses while traveling.  

We are not insurance salesmen – we are travel agents. Therefore, we can only offer basic information about travel insurance. We will provide you with an insurance quote for every trip we plan for you, but we suggest that you call the insurance company with any questions and walk through hypothetical scenarios to ensure you are purchasing the best possible insurance for your vacation.
